I want to thank you and all of your fellow code talkers. For answering the call to help defeate the Japanese, in World War 2. Marines, like yourself. That raised the bar to new heights. For Marines, that followed in your footsteps and your MARINES BROTHERS.
SEMPER FI, BROTHER and God Bless you.

I also would like to thank the Navajo Code Talkers for their courage and heroism during WW II. I recommend the History Channel movie: Navajo Code Talkers which I got from Netflix. I learned so much about these Warriors. They literally were The Few, The Proud! From the sands of Iwo Jima to the shores of Tripoli they have fought their countrys battles.....They do claim the title of "United States Marines". Semper Fi brothers.

As a white American I give thanks to all Marine Navajo Code Talkers and to all Native Americans who served in World War II and in subsequent wars regardless of their military service or duty.
These men in World war II served in a military service which was segregated and hostile towards non-whites - yet they enlisted and served proudly. The most famous of them - but only recently recognized - were the Code Talkers. Let us not forget those who were in other services and in harm's way also.
God bless them all - and all Native Americans who had fought for this country.

I work with veterans, and had been told by a vet who worked with Morris code. He told me the "code talkers" were responsible for helping win WWII! Thank you. I love Indian history and wish we had been better to them when folks immigrated to this country.

Having been raised on Indian reservations, I have a deep respect for all tribes. I especially admire and respect the Navajo Code Talkers. They were a brave yet humble group of men willing to die for their country and the Navajo Nation. They expected no great honor after the war and were strong enough men to keep the code a secret until notified no to. They are the citizens of America that have made our country the best in the world. Thank you Code Talkers!

You and the group of Code Talkers are true American Heroes. The Native People's contribution to victory during the war truly changed American history. I wouldn't be able to recognize a football player or a film star on the street but, while walking through a mall in Arlington, VA in 2006, I recognized a Native Indian in a wheelchair. I stopped to talk to him and his family and learned he was a Code Talker during the war and was visiting in Washington, DC. I felt proud to meet such an American Hero. Please accept my humble gratitude for your service.

i would like to thank the Navajo Code Talkers because if it weren't for them and the unbreakable code, we would all be learning to speak Japanese. And i am thankful they got there and enlisted in time. so i say now, THANK YOU NAVAJO CODE TALKERS!!!
