Thanks to the Navajo Code Talkers,in WWII.My dad was in WWII on an LST as a radio man,and when he was still alive up until a few years ago he said that the Navy would always praise the code talkers and to this day i hear very good things about the code talkers.I respect the Native American Nations.

My dad served on Okinawa and never talked about his war experiences with the exception being about the Code Talkers. Obviously they made a big impression. He taught me of the bravery and sacrifice they made. Thank you!

I had the opportunity to meet the late Merril Sandoval along with few other Code Talkers at the POW WOW in Washington, DC. Thanks to all those who fought for their country and for our freedom. I have a couple of books "The Warriors Code & Navajo Weapon" that I am going to read. I would love to collect more books or perhaps video. Last, it is sad to hear the passing of our recent Navajo Warriors. God bless all Code Talkers and their family.

I want to thank you and all of your fellow code talkers. For answering the call to help defeate the Japanese, in World War 2. Marines, like yourself. That raised the bar to new heights. For Marines, that followed in your footsteps and your MARINES BROTHERS.
SEMPER FI, BROTHER and God Bless you.

I also would like to thank the Navajo Code Talkers for their courage and heroism during WW II. I recommend the History Channel movie: Navajo Code Talkers which I got from Netflix. I learned so much about these Warriors. They literally were The Few, The Proud! From the sands of Iwo Jima to the shores of Tripoli they have fought their countrys battles.....They do claim the title of "United States Marines". Semper Fi brothers.

As a white American I give thanks to all Marine Navajo Code Talkers and to all Native Americans who served in World War II and in subsequent wars regardless of their military service or duty.
These men in World war II served in a military service which was segregated and hostile towards non-whites - yet they enlisted and served proudly. The most famous of them - but only recently recognized - were the Code Talkers. Let us not forget those who were in other services and in harm's way also.
God bless them all - and all Native Americans who had fought for this country.
